Network Norway chooses Gintel

Network Norway chooses Gintel EasyVPaBX for innovative Mobile Office services.

Oslo, Norway, June 19, 2007: Network Norway has entered the highly competitive and saturated Norwegian market as the third mobile operator, focused on business subscribers. “These customers require advanced functionality, including hosted and virtual services, which the Gintel solution allows us to provide,” says Ingvild Myhre, Managing Director at Network Norway.

Network Norway chose Gintel’s solution as the platform for their flagship Mobile Office service offering. “We chose the Gintel solution because it enables us to offer better solutions, giving both higher value and more flexibility to our business subscribers,” says Myhre.

The solution is composed of Gintel’s EasyVPaBX service application, BEA’s WebLogic SIP Server application server, Cantata’s IMG 1010 and SnowShore Media Server, and SUN Microsystems’ series of 4-core multithread T2000 systems and the new X2100/x4100 DualCore AMD servers. “We have chosen best-of-breed components from leading industry players for top overall functionality, quality, and performance, based on open standards. This solution is state-of-art, future-proof, and ensures that we can provide a superior platform for our Mobile Office solution, including future services and network expansions” says Geir Løvnes, Network Norway CTO.

“Gintel is pleased to work with Network Norway in this highly competitive market. Our solution allows Network Norway to offer a superior service to their customers, and gives significantly more flexibility to customers than competitive offerings” says Norton Lokken, Sales Director at Gintel.
